The epitaph of İzmir customs officer Raşid Efendi, dated gurre-i Receb 1285/18 October 1868.

SANATSAL FORM HAKKINDA

Pehleli bir erkek mezarıdır. Şahide taşı ortasında çiçeklik kısmı vardır. Bu mezarda bitkisel süsleme sütun ayaklarında palmet desen kullanılmıştır.

Mezarın baş şahidesinin batı cephesine bakan ön yüzünde 5 satırlık, Celî Sülüs sanatı ile yazılmış mermer kitabesi bulunmaktadır.

ABOUT THE ARTISTIC FORM

It is a flat lateral stone grave belonging to a man. There is a flower bed in the middle of the tombstone? The tomb has vegetal ornaments and there are palmette motifs on the round bases of the tombstones.

There is a five-line marble epitaph written in Jali Thuluth on the front face of the headstone of the grave, facing the west.
