Epitaph of Ahmed Muhsin Bey, son of Gazi Evranoszâde Mehmed Şefik Pasha, one of the notables of Thessaloniki, dated 12 Teşrinievvel 1334/12 October 1918.

SANATSAL FORM HAKKINDA

Cumhuriyet dönemi mezar olup, batı cephesine bakan ön yüzünde latin harfleri ile yazılmış mermer kitabesi bulunmaktadır. Ancak yatan kişiye ait ölüm tarihi 1915’dir. Bu tarihte Latin alfabesi kullanılmamakta olup, defin işleminin tekrarı sonucu bu mezar yapıldığı düşünülmektedir.

ABOUT THE ARTISTIC FORM

It is a Turkish Republic Period tomb, and there is a marble inscription written in Latin letters on its front side facing the west. However, the date of death of the deceased is 1915. At this date, the Latin alphabet was not used, and it is thought that this tomb was built as a result of a new burial.
